POLYSAND®

This is the original Polysand® process. Consists of a series of cloth-backed cushioned abrasives which when used in proper sequence will restore the finish of am lot of materials. Also used for fine finishing of wood, plastics and precious metals.
This abrasive is the top alternative to Micro-Mesh. The difference is the shape of the crystal. Micro-Mesh is an aluminum oxide and Polysand® is silicon carbide. They are both products that do a great job. It really comes down to a personal preference. This is also a personal preference as to which is best for which application.

Polysand® is also the quick and easy way to remove tarnish and oxide from brass or gold audio plugs without removing the metal. Easily outperforms chemicals and harsh abrasives, in a fraction of the time!
