The suggested minimum number for each instrument is:
Violin/Viola 3 pieces, Cello 7 pieces, Bass 10 pieces.

N.B.: being artigianal purflings made with natural products, there can be differences from 0.05 to 0.15 of a millimeter or more in thickness, in particular in those of poplar which, being a soft wood, easily presents an irregular thickness as can also be found in old instruments. Keep in mind this before buying them.
