OW Varnish remover is a varnish pickling product specially formulated for the removal of old or unwanted layers of oils, varnishes, paints, waxes and resins.
OW Water Based Varnish remover is ideal for use indoors in restoration and repair projects for musical instruments, furniture and decorative items. It is effective in breaking down layers of paint and varnish so that they can be easily removed with a putty knife or sponge without damaging the surface of the wood or other materials.
It is a water-based, odorless and non-flammable product.
Being a water-based product, strong odors in the workplace are avoided, as well as the health risks associated with strong solvents generally used as paint removers or "strippers", which irritate the skin and respiratory tracts.
