Kusmi Golden Seed Lac, wax 10%, 100g

Shellac is a natural resin of animal origin, obtained from the secretion of the Kerria Lacca insect.
Seed Lac is the least processed shellac and derives directly from raw shellac, Stick Lac, which is collected from trees where the insect feeds on the tree sap and secretes a protective shell in which the females lay their eggs.
Once collected from the branches it is crushed, sifted to remove organic materials, washed and dried outdoors.
The Golden Kusmi variety is a quality with a lot of wax.
