Handy set of Japanese "white paper steel" chisels.
The back of the blade has a notch which makes sharpening much easier as only the hard steel edge closest to the edge needs to be sharpened. A common misconception is that repeated sharpening of Japanese chisels causes the socket to reach the cutting edge rendering the chisel useless. This will not happen even with repeated sharpenings because abrasion of the hollow face and bevel causing the hollow area to retract keep the flat edge relatively constant.
Ideal to fit the violin and viola neck.
